Enhanced Photoshoot Editing Using Blend Modes.
Soft Light, probably the best blend mode available in Adobe Photoshop. I speak to a lot of Photographers online and when asked about their opinion of soft light, around 75% had used it before. There were a few who religiously stick by soft light & use it on almost all of their images, so it must be good for something right? The short answer is yes if it is used alongside other blend modes such as linear light and overlay. The great thing is you can adjust lighting easily using these four key blend modes, Overlay, Soft Light, Linear Light & Color Burn. If you ever wondered how Photographers create that "glossy" look then these key blend modes are undoubtedly involved in post process editing.
