Focal Point Lighting.
Adjusting the exposure is a fundamental part of any Photographers arsenal, producing the same effect across the whole of the image. If you wanted to create a "spotlight" or "focal point" lighting effect but didn't have the equipment to do it, or you captured a well lit image & simply wanted to enhance the effect Graduated Filters and the Adjustment Brush make for useful tools to grab hold of the light reigns and really customize your images. In the cover image for this article i used a combination of all three methods.
