Photoshoot Correction, Smoothing & Vignettes.
Picture the scene, you have just finished what you deem to be a successful photoshoot, the client seems happy and you feel that you have taken a sufficient number of diverse interesting pictures. Upon review you feel that maybe the colors don't pop enough, maybe the lights could have been a little different or the model just does't suit a particular pose. This is why Camera Raw in Photoshop is a gift from the gods, nowadays most high end cameras will be able to perform a lot of the effects possible in Camera Raw, within the actual camera. (Chances are these type of cameras will also shoot in RAW too which is even better.) Nonetheless if you shoot in JPEG or don't get the perfect shot in camera you can really change the feel of an image in just a few clicks within Camera Raw.
